Hi!! I’m Hannah. I’m a stay at home mom of a 2 year old little boy, and we’re expecting our second baby at the end of April! We’re the crazy one’s who wait to find out gender until birth, ha. Community with young moms is absolutely life giving at this stage and I’m excited to be in this space. I absolutely love the chaos and joys of this stage and I look forward sharing to more ❤️
We waited, too, because we did IVF and EVERYTHING is so regimented, so it was a fun surprise when our baby girl was serendipitously born to Beyoncé's "Brown Skin Girl."
Hi, I'm Ruth and I'm 32 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I have enjoyed watching your motherhood journey so far and love the dimension it has added to your content. Excited to be subscribed, to read more and connect with everyone else too!! ☺️
Hi 👋 I’m Kristin! I’m expecting my first baby boy early April, I’ll be 31 weeks tomorrow. I’m so excited about this space and sharing of journeys as there is so much to navigate it can feel overwhelming at times. I love your content and can’t wait for more here! ❤️
Hiiii! I’m Diana and a 3rd time mama with an 8mo baby girl, 7.5yo and 9.5yo. She’s the sweetest ever & I definitely have been able to actually enjoy babyhood without the stress of keeping baby alive or if I’m doing it “right” this time around lol Having 2 older kids surely helps give you the confidence of “hey, they’re alive and healthy so I got this” hehe I am and was a co-sleeping / wearing mama. Kids are so different. My first was a “held only” to sleep while my 2nd slept on her own. I knew going in with the 3rd that she’ll most likely be like the first one. They say if the first kid is “hard” then the 2nd will be easier and vice versa and it’s so true! Anyways, I’m enjoying motherhood much much more this time around. Ps You’re doing great!
Yay! Glad you are on Substack and love you are creating a space for mom friends to connect. I have been following a while on IG and recently started started seeing more of your content probably because we both have little ones! I have a 6 almost 7 month old and am excited about all things matrescence and being intentional with time (habit building routine building). 💕
Hi Jules & Mothers, etc! My name is Juanita, I am 26 and at the curious stage of this baby journey. Although, I'm nowhere ready to have a baby I am a type A planner and I'm hoping to learn as much as I can from a community that I already love. Looking forward to all of the tips, hard truths and the beauty of motherhood.
I'm also in the baby-curious stage, maybe a bit further along than you. Thinking about TTC in a year or two. Excited to learn from and with everyone here <3
My name is Alix and I don't have a child (yet). I haven't even started trying although I have been with my wonderful husband for over 10 years now. I have always been scared of becoming a mother and transfering on to my child all the trauma and unhealthy behaviours I have experienced as I was growing up.
My dad passed away last week and it probably sound strange to most people but I finally feel like I am "allowed" to have children now, as if I had been liberated from some sort of toxic parenting curse.
At now 35, I cannot wait to start building my own family with my loving husband who will undoubtedly be the best dad ever. I have followed your motherhood journey and it has definitely contributed to giving confidence and permission to take the dive.
oh hi! i’m grace and a first time mom to a very cute and uncoordinated chubby muffin of 6 months. while no one is really ready for the way you’re just thrust into motherhood, i started therapy 3 years ago in preparation address childhood trauma and my own personal issues that i have with my own mother. one thing i knew for sure was i’d never let my baby feel the way my mom made me feel (sorry that might be a little heavy, but it’s something i take very seriously!).
it’s truly been an amazing experience feeling the love i have for my daughter grow and seemingly have no bounds. while the chaos that comes with raising a baby can sometimes be overwhelming, it’s a welcomed organizational challenge for my husband and i (our motto is “we can make a spreadsheet for that!”).
i’m soooo excited for this community, more mama content from jules, and crossing my fingers for the giveaway! 🤞🏻
Hello Friends 🌸! I’m Kat (Katrina) and I’m a new mom as well to a sweet baby boy. 4 weeks post partum and excited to connect with all of you!! I’m from PA and brrr it’s cold around here, lots of contact naps, matcha drinking and baby wearing going on in this household! I’ve been following Jules for a while now and it’s been wonderful to feel like I’m on a similar motherhood journey as she is and some of you now too! Excited to connect and share on this beautiful motherhood journey.
Hi there! Wife and new mama here with a 6-month-old baby girl, Solana Bee. I'm also still working full-time. I've been following along with your (Jules') work for many years. After becoming a mama, I took a big step back from social media, but Jules is one of the only creators I still actively follow along with. In addition to aligning with your philosophy on wellness, minimalism, and simplicity, my first little one came along around the same time as yours (Solana was born in late July), so all your content has resonated with me over the years. I, too, went through a phase where I wasn't sure I wanted to be a mama, but now that I am one, wow. The center of my universe has completely shifted and I have never felt more joyful and fulfilled as I do now. I truly believe I am meant to be Solana's mama. I am currently navigating how much I want to invest in my career versus being mama. I know what feels right in my heart, but also know that providing for my family is important and will afford Solana more opportunities.
Anyway, I can't wait to connect with this community. I LOVE A GOOD SUBSTACK! Nice to meet everyone. 😊
Hi! I too am a first- and full-time WFH mom, hailing from sunny SoCal, with a nearly 8-week-old baby girl. Perpetually overwhelmed, eager and blessed — & needing a solid, judgment-free community of mothers to connect with — is an understatement. Excited to see what the Mother, etc. journey is all about! 🤍
I love your content! It helped me decide what was necessary vs excessive for my baby! I’ve also been repeating to myself something you said a couple of days ago- if all I did today was care for my baby, I accomplished a lot. We are 1.5 months into motherhood 🥰

Hi there! I am also a mom of a 2yo and due with my second at the end of May. 💓
Aww how fun!! A month apart 🥹 it can’t come any sooner haha

What part of PA? I currently live in phoenixville!
I’m in Dallas, near the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area! How do you like the Phoenixville area?!
I LOVE Phoenixville! I came from NYC so it was a nice balance of smaller town but still has things going on.
