This is the current view from my desk.

Holiday cards I still haven’t sent—but hey, I finally bought stamps, so that’s progress! A daily matcha (always a non-negotiable). My new Notion template for pregnant & postpartum mamas that I’ve been working on since I was pregnant last year. // Update: It’s LIVE!! Check out the Little One Hub here!

Mom’s in the other room with Keira. I hear her crying and am doing my best to resist the urge to run in there. She’s fine—she’s with her Halmoni. Noise-canceling headphones are on, a cozy Nordic lofi playlist is humming in the background (highly recommend), and the clock is ticking. I’ve probably got an hour before she’s hungry again. Funny how that deadline is both wildly motivating and distracting.

Today, though, I’m determined. Yesterday was...well, a doozy.

I feel lucky. Lucky that my mom lives close enough to help. Lucky that Andrew and I both work from home. But working from home with a baby still has its challenges. Everything blends together—work, life, home, play—until it’s one giant pot of...everything. Sometimes I think, maybe I should go work at that cute café down the street. But by the time I get there, it’ll probably be time to head back. Maybe next week.

Some days, I’m laser-focused. Other days, my mom brain feels like a browser that’s frozen because there are too many tabs open. But what I’ve realized is that the most important things usually get done.

Having less time has become an unexpected superpower. It’s like a natural filter for all the noise. Only the meaningful stuff makes it through.

Quick update: I went to check on Keira since she was still crying. She lit up the second I walked in (okay, she’s totally fine). My heart melted. Maybe she’s teething? Maybe she just wanted mama. Either way, I’m back at my desk now, reflecting on this wild and wonderful season of life.
