Issue #18: 13 Little Things Making Motherhood Feel Really, Really Good
a mix of little rituals, habits, and feel-good rhythms making life as a new mom even sweeter
Hi, beautiful mamas!
A few highlights from last week before I dive into today’s issue.
I made my first quiche with my friend Sanetra. She came over for the day, we cooked, the babies played, napped, we yapped, and had a very lovely day. Low-maintenance friendships feel so clutch these days in this era of mamahood… I mean, they’ve been clutch all along. But, especially now. No entertaining required. We make our own fun simply by enjoying each other’s company.
On another note, Keira is a freakin’ delight. She’s on her feet every chance she gets, determined to walk, grabbing and reaching for me. I think she said “Mama” and “Dada” (TBD, but a mom can dream). I’m bursting with joy as we hit the ten-month mark. And don’t remind me that we’re only two months from ONE.
Time sure is slippery. I’m bottling up as much as I can.
